The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture, or SEARCA, is now accepting applications for its Joint Graduate Scholarship Program. This scholarship program is open to graduate students from any of the 11 eligible countries, including Myanmar.

The focus of SEARCA's work is on agricultural and rural development in Southeast Asia. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or accepted into a full-time master's or doctoral degree program related to agriculture or rural development at a university in one of the eligible countries.

The scholarship amount will vary depending on the country of origin and type of degree program, but all recipients will receive a stipend for living expenses as well as full tuition coverage.

To apply, simply fill out the online application form and submit it along with your CV, letter of intent, and two letters of recommendation. The deadline to apply is March 15th.

The Population Media Center Scholarship Video Contest

The Population Media Center Scholarship Video Contest is open to high school students globally. The contest is designed to promote awareness of population and environment issues, and four $2,000 recipients will be chosen from among the videos submitted. In addition, twelve $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students from Myanmar who participate in the contest.
