Peking University Acceptance Rate: The Hard truth

Peking University is renowned for its academic excellence in China. It is located in Beijing and was established in 1898. The C9 League, a group of elite Chinese universities, includes the university. Peking University offers scholarships to both Chinese and international students. The university has been ranked high by Times Higher Education, coming in at 31st place globally, and 38th place according to QS Top University Rankings. Peking University enrolls more than 42,000 students in a broad spectrum of academic disciplines. Peking University has made academic partnerships with some of the most esteemed universities globally, such as Cornell and Yale.

Peking University is one of the most prestigious universities in China. It's also one of the hardest to get into, especially for domestic students. The admission rate for domestic students from China is very low - estimated to be around 15%.

For international students, the admission rate is slightly higher - around 20-25%. In order to be eligible for the application process, international students need to take a Chinese proficiency test as well as other tests such as the SAT or GRE. So it's still no easy feat.

Preparing months in advance is recommended for all applicants. For international students, that means taking a Chinese proficiency test and making sure your other test scores are up to par. For domestic students, it means making sure you have strong grades and extracurriculars.

But it's not impossible to get into Peking University. Every year, hundreds of students are accepted into this top-tier university. If you're willing to put in the work, you could be one of them.
